The Comprehensive Plan was adopted in 2005. The “Comp Plan,” as it is sometimes called, developed over several years through the work of a steering committee comprised of members of the Board of Commissioners, Planning Commission, and several residents at large – all of whom worked with Jeff Pierce of Olsen and Associates.
The committee held regular public meetings and performed numerous tasks assigned by Mr. Pierce. The results of this work is documented in the Comprehensive Plan. The ‘Executive Summary’ is presented in the document links below. The full Comprehensive Plan is available for viewing at Penn Township’s Municipal Building at 2001 Municipal Court, Harrison City, PA.
